Hi! I'm Arthur Abramov, an Artist. an Award winning Filmmaker and a Photographer.
In 2011, i decided to change my life and started doing what i like most, creating Art. I Studied Cinematography in Tel-Aviv and made 3 Documentary Films for television. Most of my Films speak the voices that are not heard in our Society.
In 2019 i launched "No Filters Project" to Diversify beauty standards.
I was always attracted to a plus-size women. When i was younger i never felt it was alright to feel attracted to a plus-size, because there was no positive representation for a plus-size women in the media, the culture made me believe like there is something wrong with me and i should be ashamed in myself for that, because the thinner body type was the clear standard and everything else is a deviation.
Since 2019 i started this Photography Project to fill the media with lots of body types as beautiful as they are in real life without any filters, through my own eyes, the way i see these beautiful women, with loving eyes and with no judgment.
Women kept joining the movement and getting their pictures taken by me and shared all over the world, mostly because it makes the world a better place and giving women a chance to see the real beauty that exists naturally in every woman without any regards to todays dictation of fashion standards.
No Filters Project is Phototherapy, so just being in front of the camera does the magic.
We've accomplished some milestones, this project produced the First Printed Magazine Edition in 2020 featuring women in Diverse Body Shapes. We've produced a Calendar featuring 12 images of Group Shoots taken through out 2.5 years of work.
Every woman is invited to participate in the Project, regardless her shape or age.
